Gilcrest Park!

We took the kids to the park last week and they loved it. Things have been extremely busy and keeping up with this has been hard. So excuse me!!! This is a park on the water that as I child I used to play all the time with my cousins/ friends/ daycare! Its so nice share my memories with my children!

Boca Grande Beach

We went to Boca Grande July 7th and it was a bit rough. The waves were high and there was quite a bit of seaweed floating around. Brevin loved the beach although hes not used to the saltwater. He says " I dont like this water , I want the water like at home". That was quite amusing. Baeleigh enjoyed the beach for the most part. The sand and salty water did not seem to bother her. The sun was extremely hot and she tans immediatly. Shes so brown and shes even got tan lines. Imagine that! This was her first time at the beach! Brevin has been plenty of times and since he was about 6 months old I have been writing his name in the sand with the current year. I have will have to upload the other pictures to see the dramatic changes.

Taking a trip back home (florida)

Well as of July 5th the kids and I flew down to Florida to visit family for a few weeks. So far everything has been great and busy. Busy visiting family, going to the beach, park, shopping, and keeping up with my homework! Here are some pictures from the beach and the park!

Baeleigh loves her bath time and especially loves when Brevin joins her. Although he was busy watching Red Wings game with Dad. Taking a walk down the hall finishes up our bath time. Were getting better by the day and soon to have new shoes we will see what they bring!!!!

Brevin rides bike with no training wheels

As of last weekend Brevin now gets on his bike and rides by himself with very limited help. He started practicing in the fall of 2008 and and the first push he was off. Winter came around and we were not able to practice. Since the weather has been nice we walk everyday and he gets plenty of practice. Looks like it has payed off! WAY TO GO!!!!

Touch-A-Truck

This was a great event put on by Washtenaw success. Its a program for kids. The kids got to get in and out of different vehicles, honk the horn, and listen to sirens. Brevin really enjoyed. Here is a video of Brevin talking to the sheriff and some pictures.

Baeleigh walking with her cart. She is doing very well and just recently got her 1st pair of hard sole shoes instead of the soft bottom shoes. Inserts for her feet will be here soon. These are to help so she isnt curling her toes and because of the arch support. She must have about 10 pairs of those and Im thinking those may be over with now :(. Here is the big girl now!!

Crawling up stairs!

Well Monday made it official that Baeleigh now climbs up the stairs. This used to be an on going process of about 2 steps and plop she was done. Now she has gotten strength to climb up all of the stairs. The only thing she is now learning is that when she is finished she cannot just plop down or she will be rolling back down. So you know what this means whenever im down stairs the gate must follow. As of now we are working on the cruising along furniture part. Walking with a cart has gotten great now If we can just keep this up Baeleigh should be walking with in the next 4 months. Wooo-Hoooo
